Rodger Swift Miles

Rodger Swift Miles, 77, of Lake Zurich passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.  He was born in Hannibal, MO on February 19, 1945, to the late Roy and Erlene (Pryor) Miles.

A proud graduate of Iowa State University and spent his career as a computer analyst.  Rodger loved going to Florida for spring training, spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

He is survived by his children, Prudence (John) Schmidt and Tim (Melody) Miles; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; siblings, David (Midge) Miles, Cecil (Linda) Miles, and Mona Miles Peterson; and many nieces and nephews.

Rodger was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Dorie).

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, from 2pm until the time of a service at 6pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.

Rodger was so very proud of the fact his wife was a leader (as well as one of the very few women) in her field.
