Ron Subgrunski

Ron Subgrunski, of Lake Zurich, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021.

Ron was the proud father to Ron Subgrunski II (Karianne Dover); a good friend to his ex-wife Denise (Ervin) McFarland; son of the late Robert and Estelle; brother to the late Edward (late Susan) and the late Gary (Maribeth); and uncle to Matthew, Hannah and Natalie.

Ron served in the US Army, ran marathons, volunteered at marathons and was a part of the Alpine Running Club. He loved to go kayaking, hike the trails and most of all, he loved going to the shooting range with his son.

Ron will be missed by all that knew him and his uniquely blunt honesty.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
