Ronald Cassidy, a 45-year resident of Mount Prospect, died peacefully at home. Ron retired from Sullivan Pontiac of Arlington Heights in 1995 after 32 years, and post retirement, was a residential realtor. He served on the Mount Prospect Zoning Board of Appeals from 1977 to 1999 and as President of Wheeling Township School Trustees from 1971 until the office was abolished. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Arlene (nee Chouinard), and children Kathleen Langelund, (John), Coreen, Laureen, and Ronald Jr. (Krissy) and granddaughter, Kailey.
Visitation at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St.,(Lake Cook Rd) , Barrington, Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation 10 a.m. and funeral mass 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne, 120 Ela St., Barrington. Internment is private.
