Ronald A. Kane

Ronald A. Kane, 81, of Woodstock, passed away on April 16, 2022.  He was born in Chicago on September 21, 1940, to William and Marie Lord.

Ronald enlisted in the Navy after high school.   On May 2, 1964, he married Christine Lipke and they moved out to Woodstock a few years later.  For almost 40 years he worked for American Airlines and commuted daily from Woodstock to O’Hare.

Ron was an active member of the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake and spent a lot of time reading his bible.  He also enjoyed spending time with his retired work friends and his VA friends.

Survivors include his wife, Christine; children, Ellen (Paul) Tschirhart and Patrick (Angela) Kane; and grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, and Adele.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Raymond, Dorothy, and Patricia.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, from 1pm until the time of a service at 2pm followed by a dessert reception at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, 575 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake.
