Ronald S. Orzechowski, 78, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed away suddenly on February 27, 2024. Ron was born May 4, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Bernard and Mary Orzechowski.
Ron married Trudy on June 20, 1970. As a Loyola University graduate, he with Trudy as his partner, founded and built over 38 years their very successful business, Greater Chicago Accounting Ltd. His many clients trusted him to give sound advice delivered with his unique and non-stop sense of humor.
He was most devoted to his three daughters, who always made him proud of their achievements in school, music, gymnastics, career, and marriage. He was also enjoying watching his eight grandchildren grow up and succeed in their lives as well.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Trudy (nee Makela) Orzechowski; children, Jaime (Gary) Waliczek, Julie (Matthew) Jur, and Meredith (Sean) Ryburn; grandchildren, Sage and Griffin Waliczek; James, Samuel, and Evelyn Jur; Grace, Jack, and Nicholas Ryburn; sister, Christine Kochaney; brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Marlene) Makela; nieces and nephews, Scott, Glen, and Craig Kochaney; Lisa, Rachel, and Jason Orzechowski, Eric Makela and Robyn Walger; and well-loved dogs, Cindy Lou Who, Lucy, and Buster.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Mary (nee Kapka) Orzechowski; brother, Bernard and sister-in-law, Georgia Orzechowski; and brother-in-law, Ronald Kochaney.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. A second visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 9am until the time of prayers at 9:30am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Burial will be held privately.
