Ronald Rokosz

Ronald E. Rokosz, 71, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at his residence in Lake Barrington. He was born June 10, 1944 in Chicago to Edward and Julia (nee Pluta) Rokosz.

Ron graduated from Northwestern University Law School, magna cum laude, order of the coif and law review. He practiced law at Chapman & Cutler for 40 years. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and playing guitar and piano. He especially enjoyed his time spent in Marco Island.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee Malloy) Rokosz; his son, Christopher (Elaine) Rokosz; and his grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 9pm, Thursday, August 6, at Davenport Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook), Barrington, IL 60010. A committal service will take place at 10am, Friday, August 7 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Prostate Cancer Foundation www.pcf.org.
