Ronald L. Rusch
The Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald L. Rusch, 82, of Barrington will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela Street (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts), Barrington, where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the mass. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. A visitation will be held Friday from 3 – 8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake –Cook Rd), Barrington.
Born March 10, 1931, in Chicago he passed away peacefully November 11, 2013 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.
A 1948 graduate of Maine Township High School, he attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO, where he played football. Ron served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 – 1955. He founded Aluminum Coil Anodizing Corporation in Streamwood in 1961. He remained active in running the business to present. Ron was a member of Rolling Green Country Club. He enjoyed his work, golf, reading, pheasant hunting, traveling and had a passion for WWII History.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine (nee Bourgeat); children, Gary (Julie) and Steven (Darlene) Rusch; grandchildren, Aimee, Colleen, Alexia and Mitchell Rusch; brother, Lawrence Jr. (Mary) Dunn; sister-in-law, Virginia Rusch; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sons, Jeffrey and Timothy Rusch; parents, William and Elaine (nee Meyer); step-dad, Lawrence Dunn Sr.; and brother, William Rusch.
