Ronald H. Siepman, age 92, of Deming, NM, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Lake Barrington, IL. He was born on February 7, 1933, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Herman H. and Laura Gorman Siepman. He was married to Dorothy Evelyn Siepman on August 5, 1953. At the time of her death in 2020, they had been together for 67 years.

Ronald attended Sullivan High School in Chicago, and following graduation, he served in Korea with the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he worked as a long-distance truck driver for the better part of 40 years.

Known as "Ronnie" and "Uncle Ronnie" to family and friends, he was a " Renaissance Man," who taught himself carpentry, electronics and plumbing, at which he excelled. Family, friends, and grandchildren were his passion. He also loved American folk music After he retired, he and Dotty enjoyed traveling in their RV, especially to New Mexico. They moved from their home in LaValle, WI, to Deming, NM, in 2006, where Ronald was a member of and faithfully supported the Deming Animal Guardians, the Senior Circle, Friends of Rockhound and numerous other organizations. He moved back to Northern Illinois in 2024 to be closer to his children and grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his children, Mitchell (Donna), Heather (Don) Malzahn, Nancy Chiou (Howard), Warren (Darcy), and Ted (Cindy), and his beloved grandchildren, Daniel, Jared, Andee, Kiera, Fiona, and Declan. He was also the father of Howard (08/1958-04/1989) and Andrew (08/1963-09/1982). Ronald is also survived by his sister, Joan Penn, and several nieces and nephews.
