Ronald Slaboch

Ronald W. Slaboch, 69, of Cary, was born on December 29, 1946 in Chicago to James and Patricia Slaboch. He passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in Libertyville.
Ron was a tremendous guy and very giving of his time. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Over the past several years, Ron found joy in being a substitute teacher. He would strike up a conversation with friend and stranger alike. Ron proudly served his country, representing the Army in Vietnam. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (nee Pertle) Slaboch; his children, Lori (Scott) Ziffra, and Matthew Slaboch; his grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlyn Ziffra; and his brothers, Roger, Randy (Marsha) and Jeffrey (Pat) Slaboch.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert; and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 2-5pm, Sunday, April 17, 2016 with a service at 2:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment private.
