Rosalie M. Lafin

Rosalie M. Lafin, née Mazzuca, 81, of Cary passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Albert and Mary Mazzuca.

On August 16, 1964, Rosalie married Carl Lafin; together they celebrated 45 years of marriage until his passing in 2010. She had various career paths, especially loved her time in the medical field. She also loved to travel but above all she loved her family. She cherished and loved spending time with family and friends.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Gregory (Jenni) Lafin and Carissa Tronolone; grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Tronolone, and Bianca, Mia, Lucia, and Oliver Lafin; niece, Donna Marie Mazzuca; nephew, Nick Mazzuca.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Nick Mazzuca.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 11 AM until the prayer service at 2:30 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL 60010. Private interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
