Rose Vitek

Rose E. Vitek, born February 26, 1925 in White City, IL, died December 10, 2013 in Barrington, IL at the age of 88.
In Chicago on June 1, 1946 she married George F. Vitek. She was a summer resident of Burton’s Bridge since 1946 and a permanent resident beginning in 1960.
Throughout her adult life she was an excellent homemaker as well as a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bertha Smetana; husband, George; sister, and brother.
She is survived by her sons, Donn (Allyson) Vitek, Larry (Mary) Vitek, and Robert (Monica) Vitek; grandchildren; Laura (Ken) Colby, Becky (Greg) Vaughn, Kathryn (Philip) Hinsdale, Shana (Eric) Kessel, Ryne Vitek, and Michael Vitek; great-grandchildren, Madison, Carsyn, Caden, Carter, Gabriella, Whitney, Lyla, and Olivia.
Arrangements for Rose will be private.
