Rosemary Dennie, nee Condon, age 76, passed away on June 20th, 2014. Born August 10th, 1937 in Chicago, to John and Mercedes (Jarvis) Condon. On October 10th, 1957 she wed the love of her life Wilfred (Bill) Dennie. In December of that same year Rosemary was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Her doctors advised the young couple that they should not risk her health by having children. Bill and Rosemary welcomed their first child to the world in July of 1958. Rosemary’s unyielding belief in family and God was testament to the fact that she would give birth to four more children. Rosemary would battle MS for the next 56 years. As her mobility diminished she never complained once. She focused on the job of raising five children with all of her heart and might. Her children were blessed with her unconditional love and unyielding support. Survivors; her devoted husband Wilfred (Bill), daughters Denise (Jeff) Almdale, Deanne (Robert) Anderson, Dawn and sons Richard (Alice), and Michael (Patrice). She is also survived by her sisters Carol Land and Cathy Williamson, ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild Mark Almdale.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 120 Ela St., Barrington, IL with funeral service immediately following.
