Rosemary Erpito, 92, passed away on July 26th, 2021. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to Anthony Erpito; loving mother to Deborah and Lisa; cherished Grandmother to Kevin, Sara (Gary), Jessica and Anthony (AJ); and Nana to great grandson Parker.
Rosemary loved fiercely. If you were lucky enough to be in that circle, you were respected, protected and always well fed. Food was her love language and the kitchen was her happy place. She was a tremendous cook whose Sunday dinners and family parties held the power of bringing people together to eat, laugh and make memories.
Another one of Rosemary’s great loves was animals. Tony tolerated them so Rosemary could love them and love them she did. Family dogs, birds and guinea pigs all gravitated to her. She had a gift of caring for all God’s creatures.
Above all else, Rosemary had a big heart and a generous spirit. She and Tony’s generosity was felt beyond the walls of their loving home and sprinkled throughout their community. Her kind and loving heart will not be forgotten.
Rosemary’s family would like to express their thanks to the incredible support, kindness and care extended to her by Heartland Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary’s memory to Reach Rescue, 372 Townline Road, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Due to the sudden increase in COVID-19 cases in our area, Rosemary's services have sadly been postponed until it is safe for family and loved ones to gather, remember and celebrate.
