Roy Senge
February 25, 1959 — September 1, 2016
Roy Alexander Senge, of Cary, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the age of 57. He was born February 25, 1959 in Chicago, the son of Hermann and Lieselotta (nee Brinkmann) Senge.
Roy was united in marriage to Dawn Zimmerman during a leap year ceremony on February 29, 1992.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Roy worked for many years as a computer systems analyst for AllState Insurance. When Roy wasn’t working, you could find him cutting grass on his John Deere Tractor, watching his beloved Blackhawks, Cubs and Bears, or enjoying his favorite beverage, Diet Coke.
Roy will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Dawn; his mother; sister, Connie (Bob) Kalas of Gilbert, AZ; niece, Alexa (Johnny) Walsh; aunt, Lore Hernandez; and cousins, Steve Radonjich and Pete Preston; and his brother-in-law, Phill Zimmerman.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 beginning at 12Noon until the memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St (Lake Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010.
