Ruby Warriner,83, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Thursday, December 22,2011, at her home.She was born on November 5, 1928 to Milner and Mildred McPherson in Bebington, England.Ruby is survived by her loving husband George; children, Joan (Olaf) Nurmepuu; sisters, June (the late Julian) Sowa, Joyce (Dennis) Braithwaite, and Mildred (Gerald) Gowan; brother, John (Moyra) McPherson; and nieces, great- nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ron (Phyllis) McPherson.Visitation will be held from 2-5p.m., Tuesday, December 27,2011, at Davenport Family Funeral Home 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014, with a service at 5p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association,""www.diabetes.org or the American Lung Association, www.lungusa.org.Burial will be held privately.
