The funeral service for Ruth F. Anderson, nee Fridinger,96, of North Barrington, formerly of Reading, PA, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 7, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, where the family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Reverend Dr. James M. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be private at Forest Hills Cemetery in Reading, PA. Born July 2, 1915 in Reading, PA, she passed away peacefully in Barrington October 3, 2011.
Ruth enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret (Jim) Reddy of North Barrington and Anne Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Reddy and Steven and Mallory McCord; and a sister, Mildred Reed of Schuylkill Haven, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Clay Anderson.
