Ruth Bock

Born September 6, 1924 in West Virginia, passed away peacefully March 20, 2014 in Park Ridge.

Ruth enjoyed being involved with many clubs including the Barrington Women’s Club, Bridge Club, and other community clubs, where she met many of her dear friends. She was also fond of the neighborhood community and spending time with her family.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald “Jerry” Bock, children; Michael, Gary, and Beverly (Mark), grandchildren; Austin, Kristy, Richard, and John, and two great-grandchildren; Maile and Kailani. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kyle and Cliff Linger, and one sister.

Visitation will be 9:30am until the time of the funeral service at 11am, Saturday, March 29 at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road, Barrington. Burial at 2pm Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery, 610 S. Dundee Ave, Barrington.
