Ruth Emons

Ruth M. Emons, 82, of McHenry, formerly a long-time resident of Crystal Lake, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 12, 1932 in Hawthorne, WI. She married Clarence C. Emons on December 16, 1950 in Hawthorne.

Ruth spent many years as a homemaker; crafting, baking and often spending time with her many friends, and family. She was also a long-time attendee of the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake.

Ruth is survived by her children, Deborah (Bryant) Clark, Patricia (Brian) Thon, Steven (Patti) Emons, and Christine (Thomas) Sanders; grandchildren, Richard (Mary), Jeffery (Meredith) Foydl, Juline, Clayton (Holly), and Caelin Emons; great-grandchildren, Nick, Alysia, Michael, Alex, Miles, Ashley, Grant, Breann, and Kinley; siblings, Tom, Don, Gene, and Linda.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Harvey; husband, Clarence; and sister, Alice.

The visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, 575 E Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake.
