Ruth Rovestad,94, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Lake Barrington Woods in Lake Barrington, IL
Ruth was born Dec. 2, 1917 in Chicago, daughter of Ladislav and Anna Dubsky, one of six sisters, all of whom preceded her in death. Ruth was employed at Western Electric Co in Chicago as a secretary before she married Richard P. Rovelstad on July 27, 1946. Richard preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1981. She is survived by her son Peder Rovelstad, daughter Linda (David) Koester, and grandchildren Laura and Ellen Rovelstad.
