Ryan Wilt

Ryan was born January 18, 1994 in Belleville, IL.  He passed away May 25, 2017 in Columbia, MO.

Ryan was a 2012 graduate of Barrington High School where he was on the wrestling team. Ryan considered his time on the Barrington wrestling team to be the best of his life.  He loved his teammates.  In 2011, Ryan was an Illinois state wrestling quarterfinalist in the 195 lb weight class.  He was also passionate about his music; he was an accomplished guitarist and composed original acoustic pieces.  He was devoted to his best buddy, his dog, Scout.

Ryan recently graduated from University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He would have attended law school at the University of Illinois, Champaign, in the fall.

He is survived by his mother Susan (Daniel) Stefanoni; father, Steven (Robin) Wilt; sister Courtney Wilt; step sisters, Olivia and Ava Stefanoni, and Rachael Bomball; maternal grandparents, Joseph (Janice) Redenbarger; paternal grandparents, Chuck (Geraldine) Wilt; aunts and uncles, Sally (Edward) Green, Jennifer Reckerd, and Nancy (Kevin) Slupski; and many loving cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 4-8pm, Wednesday, May 31 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook), Barrington.  Funeral service will be 10:30am, Thursday, June 1 at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.
