Sallie M. (Miller) Olson

Sallie M. Olson, age 86, of Barrington, IL was called home to our Lord on May 19, 2022 in the loving care of family, friends, and caregivers.

She was born on May 29, 1935, to the late Norman R. Miller and Katherine (Warren) Miller.  Norman remarried after Katherine passed away and Sallie was raised from age 2 by her adoptive mother, the late Mary Jane (Kevil) Miller.

Sallie is preceded in death by her late husband of 51 years Herbert S. Olson Jr. and survived by her five children, Pamela Wilson, Sherry (John) Hanahan, Stacy (Wally) Beecroft, Linda (Jim) Lightsey, and Charles (Cindy) Olson; her 11 grandchildren, Tracey (Hayden) McCalman, Jamie Meade, Bradley Hanahan, Stephanie (Ryan) Mooney, Daniel (Elizabeth) Hanahan, Melissa Hanahan, Benjamin Beecroft, Timothy Beecroft, Rebecca Beecroft, Christopher (Meg) Olson, Courtney (Philip) Dominguez; her 13 great grandchildren; her sister, Norma Jean (Jim) Richey; and her nephews.

Service will be held on Friday May 27, 2022, at Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation begins at 9:00 am and service begins at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bible Study Fellowship or Northern Illinois Food Bank.
