Sally Kroc

Selma “Sally” Kroc, 87, formerly of Barrington, passed away March 24, 2015. She was born on January 21, 1928 in Chicago to Raymond and Nettie (nee Goldsworthy) Wendt.

In 1947 she married Robert Kroc. They were married 52 years before his passing in 1999. Sally was an avid homemaker and enjoyed sewing many things, but her specialty was making bridal gowns. In the later years she loved going to Bass Lake, IN and traveling with a friend, Stan Klosowski.

She is survived by two sons, Jim (Donna) and David (Tanok); brother, John Wendt; sister, Susan Clark; four grandchildren, Kevin, Stacy (Rick) Cork, David II (Krista), Melissa (Mark) Hudson; and seven great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Alyssa, Colin, Jake, Alexa, and Tessa.

Besides her husband, Sally was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Mickey.

There will be a visitation Tuesday, April 7th at 10:30 am until the time of funeral service at 11:30 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Rd, Barrington, IL 60010. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
