Salomea Kolasinski (nee Palmaka), 91, of Barrington, IL formerly of Des Plaines, IL and Chicago, IL at rest Saturday, June 21, 2014. A registered nurse in Poland, WWII survivor, and member of the Polish National Alliance. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, but most of all being a wife, mother and busia. Beloved wife of the late Ireneusz; loving mother of W. John (Eva) Sr., Arthur (Patricia), and Raymond (Barbara); cherished busia of W. John Jr., Julian Alexander, Kiri Eva-Vanda, Nicholas Ireneusz, Annabel Frances, Gregory James, Lauren Catherine, and Mark Steven. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, and four sisters. Visitation Thursday, 4-9 p.m., Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL and Friday, 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (not Ela Rd.), Barrington, IL. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Justice, IL.
