Born April 5, 1929 in Chicago, he passed away Mon. Sept. 12, 2011 in Woodstock.
Sam was the beloved husband for 60 years of Constance (nee Ringesen), loving father of Thomas, Cynthia (David) Lichtenheld, Kenneth (Carol), Stephen (Paula), and Maribeth, dear grandfather of 11, brother of Ralph (Ricci), Julia (late Rudy), and the late Catherine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be 9:30a.m. until the Mass at 10:30a.m. Saturday Sept 17 at Holy Family Catholic Church,2515 Palatine Road, Inverness. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington IL 60010.
