Samantha Kummerow-Held

Harvard, formerly of Crystal Lake,Samantha Kummerow-Held, 51, of Harvard, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away on August 26, 2010 in Janesville, WI. She was born on May 10 1959, in Chicago. Samantha was a high school graduate of Crystal Lake Central, and a great lover of animals, especially her dogs. She is survived by her beloved sister, Karen Kummerow; loving sister-in-law Ann Kummerow; cherished nephews Chris, Chad, and Andrew (Meagan) Kummerow; dear great nephews Charlie and Connor Kummerow; and dearest great niece Lucy Kummerow. She was formerly married to John Held. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lorraine Kummerow, sister Leslie Eitmontas, brother Spike Kummerow, and nephew Jamie Eitmontas. Visitation for Samantha will be held on Monday, August 30,2010, from 11am until the time of funeral service at 1pm, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Avenue (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one?s choice.
