Samuel Robert Guercio

Samuel Robert Guercio, 44, passed away on June 10, 2021, after suffering a stroke the previous day. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Cheryl Guercio; his sister Kate and her husband, Alex Mayster, and their children, Ella and Max. Sam is also survived by his grandmother, Ruth Guercio, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dog, Colby.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tonya, and his grandfather, Samuel Guercio; as well as his four-legged friends, Angel, Buddy and Jackie.

A celebration of Sam’s life for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 27th, from 1 PM until 6 PM with a prayer service at 4:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local animal rescue organization. Please show love, give hugs to each other, and especially keep on dancing Sam’s little happy dance.
