Sandra Rose (Zmuda) Nueschen

Sandra Rose Nueschen, 60, of Woodstock passed away on April 26, 2022.  She was born in Chicago to Alexander and Lorraine (Flowers) Zmuda.

Sandy graduated from DePaul University College of Law and became a prosecuting attorney. She practiced in Cook County before settling in McHenry County in 1993.

In 1990, Sandy married Fred Nueschen.  Although they were both born and raised in Chicago, they decided on a country lifestyle first in Marengo then in Woodstock.

Sandy was very active in German Shepherd dog rescue, as well as training and all K9 sports.  Her current “pack” includes Riva, Flame, Chase, and Dagger that already miss her terribly.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, from 2pm until 5pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
