Sarah Anne Niederkorn

Sarah A. Niederkorn, 18, of Cary, Illinois, passed away in Cary on October 14, 2024. 

Sarah, otherwise known as Rah-Rah or Sarahbear, was born to Marc and Liz Niederkorn on April 11, 2006, in Lake Barrington, Illinois. She graduated from Cary-Grove High School with honors and had a dream to help change mental health for others. Sarah was a passionate Taylor Swift fan and a lover of reading. In her free time, you could find her reading, listening to music or hanging out with her friends and family.

Sarah’s warm spirit is carried on by her sisters; Melissa Niederkorn and Allison Niederkorn and her parents; Marc and Elizabeth Niederkorn. 

Beyond her love for reading and music, Sarah was passionate about helping others. She was a beloved member of Cary-Grove Buddies program while in high school and carried the love she has for helping others outside of this program and to her friends and family. Any time anyone needed a friend, Sarah was the first one to step up no matter what. Sarah positively impacted the Cary community and touched the lives of so many people, she will be truly missed.

To honor Sarah’s memory, a visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, from 1pm until 5pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
