Sat Pal Salwan

Sat Pal Salwan, age 77, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, passed away Saturday evening, November 2nd 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born June 10, 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He was the son of the late  Shri Vir Bhan Salwan and Shri Vidyawanti Salwan.

Sat Pal Salwan was a highly respected Mechanical Engineer and Businessman. As a Certified Professional Engineer he chaired many professional Boards and drafted codes that established guidelines for Fire Protection Engineering. He also had a lifetime love of Real Estate and investing. He spent much of his spare time serving the Hindu Community at Hari Om Mandiras former President and a member of the Executive Board.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Madhu Salwan; along with his two sons Arun and Arvind Salwan; His daughter in-laws Priyanka and Meenakshi Salwan, His  four grandchildren, Ambika Salwan, Eysha Salwan, Varun Salwan and Gaurav Salwan.

As the eldest of the Salwan/Sharma Family  he always had a lifetime of love and concern for his precious Brothers and sisters as well as his nieces and nephews.

He was always concerned with the well-being of the entire Salwan/Sharma family and everyone felt close to him.

Memorial services for Sat Pal Salwan will be Held at Davenport Family Funeral Home on Friday, November 8 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.

Prayer services followed by Dinner and refreshments will be held on Saturday, November 9 from 4-6 pm at Hari Om Mandir, 69020 Medinah Road, Medinah, Illinois 60157 .
