Sean Hopman

Crystal Lake, Illinois,Sean Patrick Hopman Sean Patrick Hopman, 24, of Crystal Lake passed away suddenly Sunday, January 30 2011 at his home. Born March 17, 1986, in Evanston, he was the son of Thomas E. and Susan M. (Conway) Hopman of Crystal Lake. After attending Crystal Lake South High School, he furthered his education by receiving an Associate?s Degree in Applied Science in Health and Human Performance. Most recently he was employed as a personal trainer in Chicago. Sean will always be remembered as a wonderful son and brother and a friend to all who knew him. His survivors include his beloved son, Owen Walter Hopman; his devoted parents; his dear brother Sgt. Thomas M. (Maureen) Hopman, USMC; cherished paternal grandmother Beatrice Hopman; treasured aunts and uncles, Patrick Conway, Maureen (Jack) Cappeller, Jay (Patricia) Hopman, Peggy (Patrick) Burke, Catherine (Bill) Kushner, Mary (Steve) Rowe, and Michael (Sherri) Hopman; and many loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James N. Hopman, Sr., and maternal grandparents, Francis P. and Phyllis J. Conway. The visitation will be from 3-9pm, Friday, February 4 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (IL Rt 176), Crystal Lake. Prayers will be said at 12:45pm, Saturday, February 5 at the funeral home, processing to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake for a 1:30pm celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial.
