Sharon Meyer

Sharon L. Meyer, 65, of Lake in the Hills, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2012.

She was born October 8, 1947 in Elgin, Illinois to Lucielle and Robert Baker.

Sharon was married in 1974 in Geneva, Illinois to Edward “Tom” Meyer. For over twenty years, Sharon worked for Black Dot graphics as a film stripper. She was a full time minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses for most of her life and Sharon was also an animal lover, hopelessly devoted to Chihuahuas.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Edward “Tom” Meyer; sister, Charlotte; brother, Robert; nephews, Doug and Darwin; and niece, Sandy and Sandy’s son, Brandon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charmayne (Gary) Houts; and nephew, Dwayne Baker.

A memorial service will be held for Sharon, December 22, 2012 at 2pm at Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5303 Terra Cotta Rd, Crystal Lake, IL. Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, any donations may be sent to the family.
