Sharon Patricia Porto

Sharon Patricia Porto, 82, of Lake Zurich, IL. passed away peacefully on November 10, 2021 with family by her side. She was born on March 16,1939, in Chicago, Illinois to John and Gertrude Dolan (nee Carey).

Sharon's passion in life and family legacy was her amazing cooking that lives on during holidays and friend and family gatherings. Sharon loved entertaining, traveling, and boating off Dana Point, California with her husband Ezio Porto of 49 years. Sharon brought illumination to any room and her memory and amazing recipes will live on for generations. Sharon retired and worked for many years in food services for the Chaffey Joint Unified School District in Ontario, California.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her children Annamarie Bader (John), Gina Faccini (Arthur) and Frank Porto (Joanne).  Sharon was fortunate to enjoy and love six grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Kristin Sovran (Joseph) ,GianLucca Faccini, GianDaniel Faccini, Zachary Porto, Ethan Bader, Evan Porto and Claire and Madelyn Sovran. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother Timothy Dolan and survived by sisters Geraldine Schill (Chuck) and Maureen Davenport (Art). Sharon and her husband Ezio Porto are now united in Heaven, sailing toward a vibrant sunset; under the watch of God, they are hand in hand until eternity.

Sharon wished to spend eternity with her husband Ezio Porto at sea. Their ashes will be ceremonially spread in the Pacific Ocean next Summer.
