Sheila Marie Juliano, age 79, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Sheila was born on August 1, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan. She was caring, generous, hardworking, and smart. She loved to sit on her back deck talking for hours, perfectly content with friends and family that she loved. She also enjoyed going out to dinner, dancing or staying up late chatting about the good times.
Sheila met the love of her life, Lawrence, when they were young. They wed at ages 18 and 19, continued to grow their family with three children and Sheila became a homemaker and nurtured them with love and care. All the while, working together with her husband maintaining the apartment buildings located in Rosemont. They were both a big part of the children's schooling and extracurricular activities such as running Bingo and participating in church projects. As the children grew older, she took a position at an office working with numbers. Sheila and Lawrence then established a successful plumbing and sewer business, Concept Plumbing, where they both worked vigorously side-by-side for many years. She was extremely intelligent, mainly working with numbers and figures, and continued to work daily to ensure the well-being of their company.
She was a simple woman who found joy in the little things. Above all else, she was loving. She will be missed immensely by all. Sheila is survived by her loving children, Lawrence Gerard (Cari) Juliano of Chicago, IL, Mark John (Jennifer) Juliano of Algonquin, IL, and Catherine Marie Juliano-Eckersall of Barrington, IL; special people in her life, Cynthia and Dane Passo; cherished grandchildren, Elisa, Lawrence R. (Izabil), Theresa, Carianna, Gabrielle, Julia, Alexa, Giavanna, and Luciano; great-granddaughter, Gabriella.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday, June 23, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich. A Funeral Service will be held at 8:30am on Thursday, June 24, at Lawrence and Sheila's home. After the services, transportation will be provided to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL for burial. Luncheon to follow back at Lawrence and Sheila's home.
