Sherman Noble, Jr

Born April 1, 1935 in Wewoka, OK, passed away peacefully March 24, 2014 in Solon, OH.

Mr. Noble was a graduate of Douglas High School in Wewoka, OK and Fisk University in Nashville, Tenn., with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he worked as a Police Officer in Albuquerque, NM, Internal Revenue Agent in Albuquerque, NM, and FBI Agent until he retired from the FBI in 1990 after 23 years of dedicated service. He was a lifetime member Kapha Alpha Psi Fraternity, a founding member of the Delta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Pi Phi “Boule” and charter member of The Chicago Guardsman. Mr. Noble enjoyed traveling, music, playing bridge and spending time with friends and family.

Sherman is survived by Doris Bundy Noble of Hoffman Estates; two daughters Pamela (Macke Bentley) of Solon, OH and Lynette (Shelly Brown) of Deerfield, IL; his grandchildren EMack, Noël, and Brandon; sister Shermaine Noble Maillard; nephews Kenny and Kevin (Maillard) and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Sherman Noble III, nephew Richard Maillard and parents Elnora and Sherman Noble, Sr.

Visitation will be 8 -10 am Saturday, April 5 at St. Michael Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave, Barrington, IL followed by funeral services 10am Saturday, April 5 and burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington, IL.
