Born May 28, 1926 in Chicago, she passed away peacefully May 16, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Shirley was a longtime member of the Eastern Star, Berwyn Moose, and Berwyn Eagles. She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Charles) Eckert; step-grandchildren, Christine (Matt) Dopke, Gregg (Nancy) Eckert, and Vicki (Ray) Garcia; and great-grandchildren, Elise and Julia. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elsie Dedic. Chapel committal services will be held at 11am Friday, May 22 at Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park.
