Shirley Young

Shirley Frances Young, 81, of Fox River Grove, died, November 22, 2013, at home surrounded by loving family.
She was born on February 15, 1932, to Richard R. Young and Elsie A. Young-Gregor in Chicago.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Michael (Diane) Snyder, and Barbara (Theodore) Rock (nee Snyder); grandchildren, Sean, Austin, Rachel, and Brittany Snyder, Krystal B. (fiancé Mario Ball) Rock, and Stephanie (Brian Weyer) Rock; brother, Richard Young; and sister, Sharon (Maurice) Cherry; many beloved aunts; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Lee Young; her parents; and grandparents, Frances (nee Skala) and Edward Konopasek, and Frances (nee Bucar) and Mohor Mladic.
Visitation will be held from 4-9p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington, IL 60010.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m., Monday, November 25, 2013, at Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E Main Street, Barrington, 60010, with a second visitation held from 10a.m., until the time of service.
