Stephen R. Peppa

Stephen Peppa, of Barrington, IL was born February 21, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA to Susan Banks and the late Horst Peppa. He died unexpectedly on August 26, 2019 at the age of 57. Stephen is survived by his mother, Susan; his sister, Deborah Steinhauer; his three children, Chelsea (27), Madison (26), and Cole (18); and his many friends. He may have spent most of his days as a Sales Manager at Composite Steel, but he lived his life outside of the office. Stephen aka “Fireball” hiked the Appalachian Trail with Cole aka “Smokey” and his beloved black lab, Tom aka “Bandit”. He took Chelsea and Madison fishing on Washington Island, WI. He rode dirt bikes with his lifelong friends. He enjoyed listening to ACDC while drinking a cold beer with anyone who would lend an ear. He was a hobbyist, an outdoorsman, and an adrenaline junkie. Stephen will be remembered for his free spirit, his belly laugh, his enthusiastic storytelling, and the love he left to his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at 28685 Harbor Drive, Barrington, IL 60010. Attendees, please walk to the rear of the property.
