Steven Lyons
December 3, 1957 — March 25, 2016
Steven W. Lyons, 58, of Algonquin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 25, 2016. He was born December 3, 1957 to Wayne and Mary Lyons.
On May 26, 1984 he married Kimberley Ellis. Together they raised three wonderful children, Justin (Suzie) of Wauwatosa, WI, William (Whitney) of Clarksville, TN, and Sara of Milwaukee, WI. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lyons, and sister, Peggy (Phil) Bolger.
Steve was an avid John Deere collector. He enjoyed flea markets, woodworking, and fishing with his buddies. Steve was a maintenance mechanic at W.R. Meadows, Inc. in Hampshire.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne.
There will be a visitation on Monday, March 28, from 4 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 7 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.
