Steven Malaznik

Steven G. Malaznik, 70, of Algonquin, died, December 4, 2013, in Barrington from an extended battle with Multiple Myeloma.
He was born on September 25, 1943, to Walter and Pauline Malaznik, in Chicago.
Steven was a member of Union 3, for 35 years and was a lifetime fisherman.
Steven is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Janice Malaznik; step-children, Cathy (Keith) Dau, Sandy (James) Kuntz, Ronald (Chris) Buske and William Buske; step-grandchildren, Kristin, David and Mathew Dau, Brett Buske and Holly Buske; sister, Elaine Tommasi; nephew Erick (Judy) Tommasi and Marc (Cathy) Tommasi, Niece Monica Briggs; great nephews, Matthew and Marc Tommasi; great-nieces, Anna and Sophie Tommasi.
Services will be held privately.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Malaznik and his parents.
