A Mass of Christian Burial for Sue Johnson (nee Scroggins),68, of Barrington will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (corner of Franklin and Ela Streets), Barrington. Entombment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington.
Born November 3,1942, in Auburn, IL, she passed away peacefully August 2, 2011 at her home.
Sue was a member and past president of the Barrington Art Associates and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and gourmet cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Roger L. Johnson; children, Chad (Kelly) Johnson, Bart (Tricia) Johnson; grandchildren, Baye, Olivia, Lily, Ella, Ben, Owen; sisters, Martha Mausshart, Pat Bland, Nancy Rehm, Mary Kuhn, Barbara Askelson; brothers, Herman Scroggins, Robert Scroggins, Leroy Scroggins; and many loving nieces, nephews and good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Genevieve (nee Bateman) Scroggins.
