Susan Margaret Himmelspach

Susan Margaret Himmelspach, of Crystal Lake, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.

She was born September 21, 1944 in Stephensville, WI, the daughter of the late Harold “Bud” and Ruth Komp.

Susan was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was a dedicated follower of many sports and loved keeping her own statistics.

In addition to her loving husband, James, she is survived by her sons, Craig (Kim), Peter, and David Himmelspach; her granddaughters, Sara and Jenna Himmelspach; and her siblings, William Komp, Nancy (John) Biese, Ann (Steve) Calnin and Robert (Janet) Komp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Richard Komp.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Entombment will be held privately at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha, WI.
