Susan was born October 16, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. She passed away peacefully January 26, 2017 in McHenry.
Susan is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert; daughters, Tara (Al) Gilson and Shannon (Phil) Hogan; grandchildren, Karson, Keaton, and Collins; sister Linda (Lawrence) Long; nieces and nephews, Molly Long, Angi Griffith, Matthew Long, and Kim Miller; eight great nieces and nephews; and sister in law, Debbie (Dave) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ellen Barnhart; great nephew, Samuel Long; and great niece, Sophia Long.
Visitation will be 10am until the funeral mass at 11am, Saturday January 28, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
