Ted Ougheltree

Ted Ougheltree, 48, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

A graduate of Crystal Lake South class of 1993, Ted married Mandy Hodnik on October 23, 2004.  Together they have three children, Charlie (15), Ryan (12), Allison (12).

A natural born athlete, Ted enjoyed downhill skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving and hockey.  Ted was an avid fan of hockey and shared his love of the ice with his children by teaching them all to skate. He had a zest for life and loved to spend it with family and friends. Whether playing a pick game of hockey or taking an afternoon ride on his Harley with his friends, his closest people meant the world to him.

His beautiful smile and a great sense of humor will be missed by all.

Ted is survived by his wife, Mandy; children, Charlie, Ryan and Allison; parents, Chuck and Mary Ougheltree; sister, April Sahl; and his niece, Emily.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, from 3pm until 6pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.   A mass will be held at 10:30am on Monday, June 26, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake.
