Born February 8,1924, passed away March 6, 2013 in Naples, Florida.

Ted, inventor, entrepreneur, and founder of M.E.A., Inc., a global manufacturer of industrial control equipment, is a life-long Chicago area resident, World War II veteran, and graduate of Cornell University’s College of Engineering.

A beloved father, valued friend, and respected advisor to many, Ted is survived by his children; Ted (Ann), Bob (Nalini), and Cathy (Bill Hewitt), grandchildren;Justin, Rachel, Evan, Will, Jack, nephews Tom and Tim Semrau, stepchildren Suzanne Irwin, Renee Peyrot, Claude Peyrot, Andree Mahaffey and Guy Peyrot.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Bette (1981) and Phyllis (2000), parents Walter and Sophia Losiewicz, and sister, Helen Semrau.

Visitation will be 3-8pm Sunday, March 10 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington, IL. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am Monday, March 11 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington. There will be visitation at church from 10am until the time of the mass. Burial in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Sister Ann Busch Scholarship Fund, St. Anne Parish Catholic School, 319 E. Franklin St., Barrington, IL 60010
