Thaddeus Nalepa
July 6, 1918 — July 9, 2015
Thaddeus S. Nalepa, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the age of 97.
He was born July 6, 1918 in Springfield, MA to Stanley and Anna Nalepa. Thaddeus was united in marriage to Marcella (nee Dzwonkowski) on November 24, 1945. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII, and was employed as an aircraft mechanic. Thaddeus enjoyed woodworking, polka music, and playing cards with his family.
He is survived by his son, Stan (Margaret) Nalepa; grandchildren, Christina, Michelle, and Stephen Nalepa; sisters, Claire (Edward) Parylak, Mary (Pete) Karczmarczyk, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his loving wife, Marcella, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sophie (Gene) Gebo; and brothers-in-law, Edward and Pete.
