The funeral service and entombment for Thelma Virginia Voss (nee Nelson),88, will be private.Born May 16,1923, in Knoxville, Iowa, she passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 15,2011, in Barrington.Thelma was a wonderful homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Kurt (Kathleen) Voss of Lake Barrington, Sandra (William) Samuelson of Algonquin, and Tina (James) Todd of Antioch; grandsons, Mark (Yvonne) and Brian (Stephanie) Voss, and Russell (Colette) Todd; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Calvin, and Logan Voss, and Corbett Todd; sister, Rita Samkus-Nelson; and many loving nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy E. Voss; and siblings, Leonard and Robert Nelson, and Bernice Weckert.The funeral service and entombment for Thelma will be private.
