Theresa A. Barnhill

Theresa A. Barnhill, 78, of Algonquin, was born February 7, 1939 in Chicago to Jack and Theresa (nee Schmidt) Quaiser. She passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 in Elk Grove Village.

Theresa loved decorating, gardening, and shopping. She enjoyed wining and dining, and the occasional cosmo and margarita. She was a huge Patrick Kane fan and spent time at her favorite place, the Great Smoky Mountains in TN. Although not a “techie” she enjoyed passing the time on her iPad and cellphone. Theresa loved her family and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold Barnhill, whom she married on October 31, 1956; her children, Dennis (Sandy) Barnhill, Alan (Debbie) Barnhill, Linda (Ken) Hall, and David (Bonny) Barnhill; her grandchildren, Courtney (Nick), Alesia (John), Lindsay (Dan), Charles (Sam), Brent, Kenny, Jake, and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Haylie, Justin, Adalynn, Hayden, Colton, Carter, and Kane; her sister, Marie (the late Edward) Soyka; and her nieces and nephew, Janet, Cathi, and Larry.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and three nieces.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3pm until time of memorial service at 5pm, Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
