Theresa Lynn (O'Connor) McConnell

Theresa Lynn McConnell, age 64, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday March 30, 2022 after heroically battling cancer.

Terri joins her son, Jake McConnell, and her parents, Francis and Lillian O’Connor, in eternal peace.

She is survived by her husband, John McConnell; her children, Luke Wehrheim and Olivia McConnell; her brothers, Tim and Tom O’Connor; and her grandchildren, Lucas and Connor Wehrheim.

Terri’s gift for story telling and love of family gatherings will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends. Terri grew up in Skokie, Illinois, attended St. Lamberts school, and graduated from Niles East High School. While raising her children, Terri was active in her church, St. Thomas the Apostle, attending mass, keeping the sacraments, and teaching religious
education.

A visitation for Theresa will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.  A second visitation will be held the following morning at the funeral home from 8:30am until prayers at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.
