Thomas Elwood

Thomas “Tom” Francis Elwood, 75, of Barrington passed away peacefully on October 8, 2015. He was born on November 19, 1939 in Oak Park, IL to Thomas and Alice (nee Mackus) Elwood.

Tom will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Betty (nee Hyatt); children , Maureen Elwood, Patrick (Heather), Bryan (Lindsey) Kenny, Kiersten (Kurt) Smith; grandson, Patrick Kenny; sister, Susan (the late Larry) Hausenfluck.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathy Starr.


A memorial visitation will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 17 at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Rd., South Barrington, IL 60010. A reception will follow at McGonigal's Pub, 105 S. Cook St, Barrington.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Willow Creek Community Church.
