He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) Kerrigan, Madden, and the late Martina Kelly Madden; the loving father of Carlyle Kelly Madden, loving step-father of Mary Catherine (Thomas) Barry and Michele Anne (Ronald) Idstein; the proud Papa of Ryan Joseph Idstein, Jacqueline Michele Barry, Kathryn Anne Idstein, Kathleen Mary Barry, Anne Mairead Barry, and John Austin Idstein; loving son of the late Thomas James and Helen Hood Madden; fond brother-in-law of Mary Anne (Edgar) Shook and Kathleen (Edward) Duran; fond cousin and uncle to many.
